Who this policy applies to

This privacy policy explains how wonaco.games, an independent casino review and information portal, collects, uses and protects your personal data. We are not the casino operator – Wonaco runs its own platform at its own domain, and we publish information about it here. This policy concerns only the data that reaches us through your use of this site.

What information we collect

We gather two kinds of data when you visit wonaco.games:

  • Technical data – your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed and time spent on the site. This is logged automatically by our hosting provider and analytics tools.
  • Information you provide – if you contact us via the email address [email protected], we collect whatever details you include in your message: typically a name, an email address and the content of your enquiry.

We do not collect payment details, account credentials or identity documents – those are handled directly by the operator if you choose to register with them.

Why we process your data

Technical data helps us understand how visitors use the site, which pages are read most often, and where improvements are needed. We rely on this to maintain a functional, readable portal. Contact-form data exists solely to answer the question you sent – we keep your message long enough to reply, then delete it unless you've asked for ongoing correspondence.

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, we process your data on the following grounds:

  • Legitimate interests – analysing site traffic to improve content and navigation.
  • Consent – where you've agreed to marketing cookies or analytics tracking via the banner that appears on your first visit.
  • Contractual necessity – replying to a support enquiry you initiated counts as fulfilling a request you made.

Who else sees your information

We share data with a small number of third parties who help us run the site:

  • Hosting provider – server logs containing IP addresses and visit timestamps are stored with our host. They retain this data according to their own policy, typically 30–90 days.
  • Analytics services – if you've accepted analytics cookies, aggregated usage data (page views, session duration, referral sources) is sent to tools like Google Analytics. This data is pseudonymised and cannot identify you personally.
  • Advertising partners – if you've accepted marketing cookies, ad networks may receive data about your visit to show relevant offers on other sites. You can withdraw consent at any time through your browser settings.

We never sell your data to third parties. No list of email addresses, no browsing histories, no contact details – none of it is sold, rented or traded.

Your rights under UK data protection law

You have the right to:

  • Access – request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification – ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Erasure – request deletion of your data where we no longer need it.
  • Restriction – ask us to stop processing your data temporarily while a dispute is resolved.
  • Portability – receive your data in a machine-readable format to transfer elsewhere.
  • Objection – refuse processing based on legitimate interests, including for marketing purposes.
  • Withdraw consent – revoke any permission you've given, such as analytics or marketing cookies.

How to exercise your rights

Send your request to [email protected]. Include enough detail for us to locate your data – typically the email address you used to contact us, or the approximate date of your visit if you're asking about analytics records. We'll respond within one month. If the request is complex or we've received several at once, we may extend this by two further months and will let you know if that happens.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection supervisory authority. Visit ico.org.uk or call 0303 123 1113 if you believe we've mishandled your information.

Protection of minors

This site is aimed at adults aged 18 and over (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has shared personal information with us, contact [email protected] and we'll delete it immediately.

How long we keep your data

Data type Retention period
Server logs (IP, browser, pages viewed) 30–90 days, then automatically deleted
Contact-form messages Up to 6 months after the conversation ends
Analytics data Aggregated and pseudonymised; retained by the analytics provider for 26 months
Cookie consent records 12 months, then you're asked again

Updates to this policy

We may revise this privacy policy from time to time – usually when we add a new tool, change hosting providers or respond to updated regulations. The date below shows when it was last amended. Significant changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least two weeks.
